The Divine Triad

Retrieved from beneath the accumulated debris of three thousand years and rstored with the well-informed care to something approaching their ancient grandier, the three colossal statues that once supported the portico of Tell-Halaf's temple palace now stand in a museum in Berlin. Their discoverer, Baron von Oppenheim, is seen leaning against the lioness mount of the goddess Hepet.
