Toltec
Figures at Tula - Mexico
These gigantic
figures supported the entrance to the temple of Quetzalcoatal.
Note what appear to be the small bags held in their left hand
and compare this feature with the bag held in the hand of a
god at La Venta in south west Yucatan and the sculptures of
the apkarlu from the throne room at Palace acredited to Sargon
II at Khorshabad in Iraq on the Tigris.
