Old Kingdom, Fifth Dynasty. C. 2480-2350 BC. Limestone, painted. This is one of many brilliantly executed scenes in the tomb of Ti illustrating episodes from everyday life. The figures begin to overlap and the gestures are more lifelike than in earlier reliefs.
