The Fig Tree is all that remains from an orchard on the south facing slope above the basin, where we believe that plantations, orchards, fields and grazing for animals, would have original been created by the original inhabitants.

The Tree became a point of reference during our survey and is another one of those explainable features of the survey area. We have taken small branch and leaf samples.
